Facilities and Services

CSIR-NISCAIR has been in the forefront of science communication in the country through its scholarly peer-reviewed research journals, well-circulated popular science magazines, encyclopaedic publications, popular science books, information resources and services.The institute has also forayed into multimedia science communication. Apart from services such as development of databases, bibliometric and scientometric services, foreign language translation, library automation, and printing of scientific publications, as part of the government's Skill India initiative, CSIR-NISCAIR has also pitched in with its human resource development programmes in the areas of science communication, information science, office automation and digital libraries. NISCAIR also undertakes projects on turnkey basis for other organizations. The projects cover design and development of databases, automation and modernization of libraries, editing and production of various publications like journals, books, conference proceedings, annual reports, etc.
