Facile synthesis of new substituted aryl and heteroarylflavones by thermal and microwave assisted Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction

Synthesis of aryl and heteroarylflavones has been carried out using Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction by thermal heating, separately with catalysts, Pd(OCOCH3)2 and Pd[(Ph)3P]4.  Microwave heating with Pd[(Ph)3P]4 catalyst reduced time of heating, and gave highest yield.
